Cero is the Shattered Axis’s Counsel to the Infinite, an elegant, profoundly nonhuman cataloguer whose influence comes through information, perception, and absence rather than brute force. She has no eyes and no mouth; instead, a true null aperture passes completely through her crystalline head. Cero communicates through waveforms mentally tuned to individual recipients and can read or upload thought and memory without touch, pain, emotion, or even the sensation that anything has happened. To experience Cero is to experience Null.

She catalogs divine sparks and controls which fragments of knowledge are permitted to reach prisoners within the cage. Her ceremonial cloak functions as a protective null field capable of concealing or effectively erasing her from view, while the ring surrounding her facial aperture can focus into a destructive sonic waveform. Cero serves beside Distorto, though her loyalty is less certain than her position suggests — and whether he is truly the one she answers to has never been settled.

Galvanaut is the loud, arrogant Admiral of the Shattered Axis, commander of the Fracture Armada and the ground forces beneath it. Younger brother to Distorto, he carries the confidence of someone who has spent far too long being the most dangerous presence in almost every room—and the ego to make sure everyone knows it.

Where Distorto prefers strategy, manipulation, and spectacle, Galvanaut would rather hit the problem head-on. He is a brutal physical combatant who enjoys entering the fight personally, backed by a strange fourfold architecture of jaguar, serpent, and raptor aspects. Mouthy, proud, and relentlessly competitive, Galvanaut treats war as both command and performance—and takes any challenge to his authority personally.
