Mastema is an ancient adversarial figure whose presence has been interpreted through countless myths of rebellion, temptation, judgment, and forbidden knowledge. Immaculate, composed, and disturbingly comfortable in almost any environment, he rarely behaves like the monster his reputation suggests. Mastema is more likely to enter a conflict smiling than roaring, treating violence as another form of negotiation until something finally gives him reason to abandon restraint.
Known as the Prince of Loyalty, Mastema possesses extraordinary command over the material structures surrounding him, yet his power operates according to restrictions even he does not fully understand. He can confront beings far beyond ordinary human comprehension, cross boundaries that should be inaccessible, and survive forces capable of destroying lesser entities outright. But there are lines he appears unable—or unwilling—to cross.
Abilities
Immense cosmic strength allows him to physically confront entities far beyond conventional superhuman scale.
Can manipulate matter, energy, and dimensional structure within the governing laws of the material world.
Possesses extreme durability and can survive catastrophic dimensional and energetic forces.
Can cross dimensional boundaries and manifest within otherwise inaccessible regions of the material world.
Can project destructive crimson energy through direct force, fields, ruptures, and large-scale environmental events.
Possesses ancient intelligence and exceptional analytical understanding of systems, rules, contracts, hierarchies, and cause-and-effect.
Can identify contradictions and loopholes within supernatural or dimensional laws and exploit them tactically.
Can assume a higher adversarial state in which horns, wings, and more overtly demonic architecture manifest around him.
Resistant to psychological manipulation, intimidation, possession, and conventional spiritual coercion.
Learns from restrictions and countermeasures, making repeated encounters with him progressively more dangerous.
Weaknesses
His abilities remain subject to laws and restrictions he does not completely understand.
Certain actions may become inaccessible until he discovers a valid exception, contradiction, or loophole.
Extreme power does not guarantee freedom of action, and circumstances can prevent him from intervening despite possessing the strength to do so.
Unfamiliar restrictions can temporarily place him at a severe disadvantage until he understands their underlying rules.
Curiosity toward unexplained anomalies can override tactical judgment and draw him into conflicts that do not otherwise concern him.
His confidence in his own understanding can make unexpected limitations particularly dangerous.
Once confronted with a rule he cannot overcome, he can become dangerously preoccupied with proving that it can be broken.
